Alameda Backyard Growers will celebrate its five year anniversary with a special event: “Growing community, one community garden at a time” hosted by ARPD with support from Supervisor Wilma Chan. Join us in a conversation about community gardens. Bill Maynard, President of the American Community Garden Association, and Sam Foushee, Coordinator of the Emeryville Community Organic Garden, will share their in-depth experience in planning and implementing community gardens in Northern California.
