Peppers Galore: Growing, Tasting, and Hot Sauce Making Workshop
Thank you to everyone who attended the pepper workshop a very special afternoon! We had at least 45 participants and received a lot of positive feedback on the event. People received good information from the presentation and hot sauce demo, and enjoyed the tastings and the seed giveaway. There was something for everyone there. And it all went off without a hitch!
Expert grower John Story's presentation focused on:
- Capsicum history, growing tips, and myth-busting secrets.
- A live hot sauce making demonstration and production overview.
- Pepper tasting and free take-home seeds!

- Teale Harden, Executive Director of the Alameda Food Bank, for letting us use their new space for a perfect setting.
- and our ABG volunteers for all the advance planning and day of work to make this run remarkably smoothly for such a complex endeavor.
