Join us for a family friendly, hands-on workshop led by Compost Gal, Lori Caldwell. A longtime teacher and active composter, Lori will share worm composting fundamentals and lead us in building worm bins. Vermicompost is an ideal organic fertilizer for veggie gardens and fruit trees. Plus composting with worms is easy, fun and suited to small indoor spaces. Added bonus, it’s another creative way to recycle veggie food scraps.
*Each registered household will build and take home their own bin, complete with red wigglers. This workshop has limited space.
