Igor Lacan, Environmental Horticulture Advisor at the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources, will discuss common biotic and abiotic challenges seen in backyard fruit growing. He will briefly talk about the differences between fruit trees and ornamentals in growing, pruning and maintenance, and will finish with an overview of the resources available from the University of California for backyard growers.
